The Minister’s Minute – October 2022

 

Romans 5:8 – But God Commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
II Peter 3:9 – The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance.

The sole purpose that God cloaked himself in human flesh, as Jesus was, so that he could
present himself, once and for all, as a perfect sacrifice for sin on the cross. God loves you no
matter what you have done in the past. There is no sin so great that Jesus will not forgive. He
desires a relationship with you as you obey the Plan of Salvation (Acts 2:38).
Jesus is coming back soon to take those who are born again (John 3:3-5) to paradise. He is
delaying his return in the Rapture because he wants all men and women to be saved. If you are
